Welcome to Thompson River Kennels!
We own and operate a small state certified kennel on our family farm in North Missouri. We currently enjoy raising a small variety of breeds including German Shepherd Dogs, Alaskan Malamutes and Klee Kais, Beagles and some Bernese Mountain Dogs. Starting with a single German Shepherd in 2017 our furry family has continued to grow ever since. Few things bring as much joy and laughter as watching our five children mingle and play with the latest litter of puppies.

There's an old saying that goes "you are what you eat" and we have found it to be true time and again. To that end we have committed to feeding our dogs only high-end feeds that use real meat and have a high protein and fat content. We also give lots of supplements and vitamins to ensure our dogs remain healthy and energetic.

Another reason to choose one of our puppies is because we put ALL of our dogs through an extensive de-wormer and vaccination program that is organized by our local veterinarian. We make every effort to ensure that when you receive your new bundle of joy, they are as healthy and prepared for life as possible.

All of our dogs are socialized and enjoy lots of exercise around the farm, but for our friends in the city, don't let that scare you. If you don't have a lot of room at home just be sure to take your new pup for walks so they don't use all that puppy energy on your furniture!

All our dogs are purebreds and in addition to a 1 year health guarantee they come microchipped and with registration paperwork. We also like to send our puppies to their new homes with a little doggie bag to help them adjust to the new surroundings.
